Manuscript Submissions.

Guidelines.

Thank you for considering submitting your book to 9jahotblog Storybooks! We're excited to review your work and help share your story with the world. Please carefully read and follow these guidelines to ensure a smooth submission process.

Offers:

  • We're not promising to make you a bestseller overnight, but we'll do our best to get your story out there - for free!
  • Digital publishing across the nation, readable on our 9jahotblog Storybooks site. (You select where, you want your story to reach and which platform to add them to.)
  • A dedicated page for your book and author profile below it
  • Sales go directly to the author, with visibility and promotion on our platform
  • Knowledge graph and digital worldwide visibility
  • And more!

Submission Requirements:

  • Title Page: Include the title, author name, and contact information (email and phone number)
  • Manuscript: Microsoft Word document or PDF, double-spaced, 12-point font, with page numbers
  • Synopsis: Brief summary (max. 500 words) of your book, including genre, target audience, and key themes
  • Author Bio: Short bio (max. 250 words) including writing experience, credentials, and social media links
  • Sample Chapters: First three chapters or up to 20 pages of your manuscript

    • Submission Categories:

  • Fiction (novels, short stories, poetry)
  • Non-Fiction (memoirs, essays, self-help, etc.)
  • Children's Books (picture books, middle grade, young adult)

    Submission Guidelines:

  • Submit your manuscript and supporting materials via email (9jahotblog2@gmail.com)
  • Use the subject line "Manuscript Submission @9jahotblog storybooks: [Title] by [Author Name]"
  • Allow weeks for review and response

    • Important: We only accept original, unpublished work. Simultaneous submissions are allowed, but please notify us if your work is accepted elsewhere. Debut Stories are likely to have higher reach.
